Pherpa means Rug.
We are a handmade yakwool brand rooted in the raw altitude of the Himalayas in Nepal. Every fiber we use is natural, undyed, and deeply honest—drawn from the yak itself in its true shades: black, brown, white, and grey. These are not colors chosen; they are colors inherited from the land, the animal, and generations before.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact.
We work directly with herders and weavers in remote villages building a chain that is not industrial, but human. Every piece—carpets, wall hangings, tapestries—is made slowly, above the clouds, where craftsmanship is not rushed but lived. The production is not relocated; it remains where it belongs.
Pherpa stands at the intersection of past and future. Our designs are modern, minimal, and deliberate—simple geometries, clean lines, and a quiet strength that allows the material to speak. But beneath that contemporary surface lies something far older: a memory of weaving passed through generations, now being rewoven into the present.
We believe warmth is not just physical—it is emotional, cultural, and enduring. Every piece carries the altitude it was made in, the hands that shaped it, and the story it refuses to let disappear.
